Tune Into Season!
Tune Into Season with P&B!
Although P&B is well known for it's chandlery, sail making, boat repair and spars & rigging services there is much more to the business than that. With over 100years of sail making experience and even more sailing experience the P&B team are a great source of advice, guidance and information for all your sailing needs. Still very much active across the sailing circuit the P&B team offers sound advice cross a variety of classes from Optimist's to Flying 15's and are even venturing out into keelboat sailing with the help of P&B South's Ben McGrane. (see P&B South newsletters for more)

With the season under way and the sailing events coming thick and fast P&B offer a selection of downloadable tuning guides which are a great starting point for any sailor no matter what level you sail. Team one of these guides with a handy Wetnotes Pad and a good Chinagraph Pencil to make notes and you will be well on your way to getting the best out of your boat.

Alternatively, you can get in touch with one of our class experts on 01604 592808 or when you're next at an event you can keep an eye out for one of the P&B team who are always on hand to help.

Trailing Essentials!
Trailing Essentials!
If you have prepared your sailing schedule for the season and it's looking like you're going to clock up the miles on the road then P&B have some great trailing products to keep your boat safe in transition. Make sure everything is tied down and secure with P&B's Hook & Rachet Straps, Gunwale Protectors and the Kwick Twist Ties. For the smaller boats we have a selection of Roof Rack Pads to save the gunnels from any roof rack damage. Anyone that is trailing should also consider new Trolley Wheels whether it's just a spare or replacing worn or damaged wheels.

Kit Of The Week!
KIT of the WEEK!
Each week one of the P&B team will be looking into their kit bag and giving us an item that they simply wouldn't sail without!

This weeks 'Kit of the Week' comes from father and son combination of Tom Stewart and son Robert. Enjoying some Easter sunshine the pair sailed their Mirror to great success at Waldringfield SC. Essential to the boats performance was Marlow 4mm Excel Racing Rope which is being used for the Jib and Main Halyards. The SK78 core has even less stretch than before whilst also having the ability to be spliced making it a light, durable and adaptable bit of rope.
