Hayling Island Sailing Club opening Pennant Weekend

The first HISC Pennant weekend held over the Easter weekend, was 'a game of two halves' with fine sailing conditions on the Saturday attracting over 90 entries and then a change of weather for the Sunday with cold wind, rain and poor visibility reducing the numbers for the Sunday race.
The event saw 'Open Meeting' standard racing on two courses and attracted 91 boats including 24 Solos who were the largest individual fleet represented.
Overall winners:
Fast handicap, Nik Williams winning the all RS700 event
Medium Asymmetric handicap, Mike McIntyre in an RS100
Medium handicap, Simon and Jackie Lytton in a Merlin Rocket
Slow handicap, Alex Butler in a Laser 4.7
Solo class, Ross Harvey in a Solo
Flying 15 class, Charles Apthorp and Jonathan Clark Flying 15

RS Tera, Rupert Jameson
RS Tera Pro, Henry Jameson
RS Feva, Tristan Payne and Isobel Clark
