This is a traditional race that is held during Easter season at the Iate Clube Armação de Búzios and it calls the Brazilian Soto 40 fleet. The Olympic medallist Torben Grael and the four-time J/24 world champion Mauricio Santa Cruz are some of the competitors.

The three Soto 40s that are competing in this event (Carioca, Crioula and Magia V) sailed the courses really tight and they repeated their positions in both races: Carioca finished with two first positions, Magia V with two second places and Carioca with two third places.
Among the sailors is the famours sailor Torben Grael, who is the skipper of its boat Magia V, and Mauricio Santa Cruz, who is the skipper of Crioula. Carioca is skippered by its owner, Roberto Martins.
