XOD LAUNCHED!
It has been a busy couple of weeks as preparations were made to X22 prior to her launch last weekend, she is now in her berth at Hamble River Sailing Club, the first X boat in the water this year; we might seem a bit keen but then we have a lot planned in what is a new class for P&B.
With the first set of XOD sails put through its paces towards the end of last season on X166, we have made a few alterations to build on what was a very positive start recording only wins in the Hamble division races for which the sails were used. X22 will get her first outing this weekend which will be used for the initial rig set up before the focus will turn to continued sail testing ready to then tune both boats together after Easter.
