Want To Work For P&B?
We now have three exciting new roles at both of our branches.
P&B have a rare opportunity for an aspiring or experienced Sail Maker based at our (Northampton) HQ. The successful candidate will contribute to the day to day running of the sail loft which includes the manufacturer and repair of sails and covers.
P&B also have a temporary (with a view to make permanent) position for a Boat Repairer / Fitter. Based at our (Northampton) HQ, the successful candidate will work along side other boat repairers and fit out specialists, to maintain, refurbish and repair boats.
Due to high demand and a consistent volume of work P&B are looking for an experienced Boat Builder and Repairer to be based at our Fareham branch (P&B South). The successful candidate will primarily work with GRP whilst also assisting with carbon fibre projects and repairs as required.
With over 25 years marine industry experience you would be joining an established and growing business which has built up a superb relationship with it's customers. As a member of the P&B work force you would be required to represent the business at trade shows as well as sailing events to help grow our reputation with new and existing customers. As part of the P&B team you would also get the opportunity to join the P&B Race Team, contributing to product development whilst working along side some of the countries most experienced sailors.

KIT of the WEEK!
Each week one of the P&B team will be looking into their kit bag and giving us an item that they simply wouldn't sail without!
Blessed with another couple of days of sun it was enjoyable weekend both on and off the water at the Hamble Warming Pan. With the majority of the team sailing at Hamble it was Boat Sales Manager Oli Wells who was closest to victory so we thought we'd ask him what gave him an edge on the water. Selecting 'Kit of the Week' he chose the new Gill Tactic Sunglasses which he felt helped him see the wind shifts on the water in tricky sailing conditions. Not your ordinary sunglasses which just protect your eyes from the sun these are floatable and repel all water, oils and salt residue. As good as these sunglasses are unfortunately they cant help you when tallying off.. see blog
P&B's Weekly Round Up!
New boats are coming in and going out this week as we get three new scorpions into the workshop, whilst Fireballs and Solo's leave our doors. View our blog for more on this and get the run down from last weekends Warming Pan, including the feedback from the new Merlin Rocket Radial Sail...
