The Dinghy Show will be the first chance for sailors to see the new Ovington International 505 which has been developed entirely by our in-house design team. This is a result of over 6 months R&D, drawing on the knowledge and experience of Holger Jess – one of the most prolific 505 sailors of a generation.
There are going to be lots of Ovington built boats present at the show – alongside those on our stand there will also be the World Championship winning Flying 15, Lark, Albacore, Solution, 29er and Phantom on various class association stands.
We will have the new VX One at the show for the first time – a calendar of 2014 demo days and events has recently been published on the YachtsandYachting.com website and a test report is in the current edition of the magazine.
The Musto Skiff class are gearing up for their 5th World Championship and second in the southern hemisphere to be held in Perth next January, see www.mustoskiff.com.au. An efficient loading system has been devised so you can fit up to 14 Musto Skiffs in one 40' shipping container – this greatly reduces the cost anticipated to be under £500 a boat!
New product lines being released including Vaikobi Performance sailing helmets (CE1385 approved) and Zhik clothing. More exciting news is in store – to be announced at the Show!
