Lightnings Re-Loved is our Lightning 368 Refurbishment and Re-homing Initiative.
Together with our class builder John Claridge, the Association is working to provide high quality second hand Lightnings to those interested in joining the class, but perhaps not yet looking for a new boat.
These are older boats that the Class has purchased and John Claridge has refurbished to a very good standard.
Most importantly the hull will have been checked over and any necessary repairs made, pods fitted and hatches updated. The boats will normally be offered with their original rig, again checked and repaired by John as necessary, but John will also offer an upgrade service, if someone wants to update the rig or foils.
The class sells these boats at cost, to encourage sailors to come and join us.
With Valentine's Day just around the corner, it's the best time to offer up some Re-Love!
