The 2013 Moth Worlds are currently under way in Hawaii. Eight boats from 15 countries are competing. Day one (Monday) was cancelled after attempting one race due to very light winds, 3 races were completed on Tuesday and 4 races on day 3.
In the build up to the main event the US nationals were held 2 days before the Worlds. With most of the 80 strong competing this was a strong indicator of current form running up to the worlds.
Hyde sails are very happy to see Chris Rashley finished the 3 race series with 2nd overall using his 2Dm sail. This follows Chris taking the last 2 UK GP open meetings before heading out to Hawaii.
The Hyde 2Dm design is proving very popular with many sailors converted to its ease of use and fair shape. The Hms method produces very smooth strong sails which blade out beautifully but have the stretch resistance to close the leech and power up when needed.
