Entry is now open at carnac2014.org for 4 days of sailing, sunshine and socialising in Carnac next May.

Who: Open to Enterprises, Larks, Merlin Rockets, National 12s and Scorpions.
What: 4 day event with 1 handicap race on the Saturday and a separate fleet racing series Sun – Tues.
When: Saturday 24th - Tuesday 27th May 2014. This is the (UK) bank holiday weekend and should be the start of most school's half term.
Where: Carnac YC, Brittany, France
Why: Why not is a better question, but the quick answer is: great sailing at a top venue located in a beautiful seaside town famous for its beaches in a country famous for its food and drink. Add in a full social programme both during the day for non-sailors and in the evening plus some pre-ordered sunshine and wind and there's not a lot more you could want.

Entry

The entry fee is approx £175 (or £125 for under 20s) per boat; the exact value depends on currency exchange rates. £20 goes to the organisation here and will cover prizes, socials, t-shirts etc. The balance is 180EUR (or 120EUR) and is payable to Carnac YC on arrival.

Included in the entry are all the race management and use of the club, free drinks at the welcome reception and prizegiving, a buffet meal one night and more socials to be confirmed.

There will also be free event t-shirts for all entries who have paid their £20 before 31st Dec 2013.

The NOR is available to download at www.carnac2014.org or you can find the event on Facebook.
