Less than two weeks to go until the Harken Miracle Nationals

With less than 2 weeks to the 2013 Miracle National Championships at Weymouth and Portland Sailing Academy, the class is really gearing up for a fantastic week. Harken UK are title sponsors again this year, continuing a fantastic association with the class. Gibson Sails has kindly provided two days on the water coaching with evening sessions.
With 40 boats entered already at such a fantastic venue, we are looking forward to another excellent nationals, attracting sailors of all ages from aged 4 and upwards.
A fantastic week has been lined up as usual by the committee. This will provide another hotly contested event for the overall title, but not forgetting there are the Silver and Bronze fleet prizes also to be won.
With a lot of young crews and helms in attendance this year, the youth and junior series run after racing looks set to be a close one to call. There is also the crews' race, non-spinnaker race and single handed race to complete in after the series points for those crews who just haven’t had enough sailing in one day.
Nationals Week Programme:
- Saturday – Registration
- Sunday – Practice Race followed by first points race
- Monday - 2 races
- Tuesday - 2 races
- Wednesday – 2 Races
- Thursday - 2 races
- Friday - 1 race
Once again most nights have evening entertainment laid on for sailors and spectators alike.
