Chris Churchill from Southampton, Hampshire and Karen Langston from Beccles, Suffolk, have been crowned the next two winners in the ilovesailing 2014 calendar competition.

Chris and Karen join our existing six winners and leave just four more places up for grabs on the first ever ilovesailing calendar.

Karen's image entitled 'Broadland colour' really caught the judge's eyes with its explosion of colour, while Chris's image really captured the detail of the waves in rough seas.

Chris, a professional photographer from Southampton commented on his win: "I'm really pleased that the judges enjoyed and chose my photo, it really makes me smile to know that many others will get to enjoy my picture!

"It was taken aboard "Just Jean Too" a Malö 42 whilst on a trip to La Rochelle in May this year. The route was heading to Concarneau sailing back from the Îles des Glénan, with Alan Jessop who I sail with as often as possible. My love of sailing and Alan's tolerance of me hanging over the side with my camera seem to make for a good combination!"

Karen commented: "I'm absolutely thrilled my picture has been selected for the calendar. The blue ilovesailing duck will keep my white duck that I won last year company.

"The picture was taken on Hickling Broad at the 2011 NSBA Broadland Youth Regatta. The Topper fleet were just off after the gun, I was amongst club members supporting 'Team Beccles' from a day boat and as usual had my camera at the ready to capture their sterling efforts."

"Yet again the calibre of entries was amazing, making judging extremely difficult", explained ilovesailing coordinator Emma Slater. "Both Chris and Karen's images will make fantastic additions to the calendars line up and we can't wait to see who will claim the final few places and the completed calendar in September."

As well as a spot on the calendar Chris and Karen also claim tickets to the PSP Southampton Boat Show when they will presented with their copy of the 2014 calendar as it comes hot of the press, as well as clinching their very own, and now much coveted, blue ilovesailing rubber duck. Caption entry winner Stephen Snaith, also claimed a blue ilovesailing duck for his quote: "I support the RYA because I need to know my interests are being represented by likeminded people in a political world that is increasingly all at sea."

The ilovesailing calendar competition runs from March through to August 2013, with two photo and two caption winners (depending upon number of entries) being picked each month to appear on the 2014 calendar as well as receiving an ilovesailing rubber duckie.

All you have to do to take part is post your favourite sailing photo(s) on to the ilovesailing Facebook page www.facebook.com/ryailovesailing or email your entry to , it's that easy.

As well as the photo entries we are also asking for text entries answering either of the two statements; 'I'm an RYA member because...' or 'I support the RYA because....', in no more than 30 words.

Four winners; two photo and two caption (depending upon number of entries), will be picked each month and the winners will be announced on the ilovesailing Facebook page and contacted via email. All winners will also receive a copy of the calendar when it is completed.

The calendars will go on sale at the PSP Southampton Boat Show 2013, with the first 50 people to purchase a copy also receiving a 2013 ilovesailing rubber duck.

As well as the new calendar competition the ilovesailing page will continue to run its ever popular weekly caption competition, giving you a chance to share your funny, clever and witty captions in a bid to win an ilovesailing duck.
