Team Fletcher & Sign blog: Winter training in Mar Menor

To kick off 2013 with a bang we headed out to Mar Menor, Murcia with our new boat 'Geordie Bear' to get ourselves back in hard training again. Mar Menor has turned out to be a fantastic training venue, with great facilities and some champagne sailing conditions. Although at least half the days are spent waiting until 4pm for the champagne conditions to arrive.

We are back out here for a second time at the moment working hard towards our first regatta of the year out in Palma at the start of April. We have been working closely with Team D.E.E.P (Dave Evans and Edward Powys), which has been interesting at times but all in all turning out to be really constructive.
