Sunny, a force 2-3 breeze and a good turnout, with more stars than usual. The racing was close with places hard fought for right through the fleet.
At lunchtime Steve Janering from Wembley was leading from John McKelvie (IRL) and frequent winner of this event Graham Lund.
Race three saw some different faces at the front, and left no-one with three good results, so it was all on the last race.
For this race the wind, appropriately, increased a Force. Graham Lund led for much of the race, but in the end Steve Janering took the lead on the last run to take the event by a comfortable margin.
