Rooster 8.1 Nationals at Weir Wood Sailing Club - Preview

The 2012 Nationals for the Rooster 8.1 will be hosted at Weir Wood Sailing Club the weekend of 20th and 21st October. The first start on Saturday will be at 12:00, 3 races are planned for both Saturday and Sunday, with a meal on Saturday evening and all for just £15. You can Download the Notice of Race here and Download the SI's here. Generous prizes will be offered throughout the fleet by Rooster Sailing.

We are expecting a large entry, however we are keen to encourage new 8.1 converts and so Rooster are offering Rig hire for just £15. - so call Rooster (01243 389997) to book your rig to avoid disappointment.

Since 2007, the Rooster 8.1 has been a new class of rig, designed to be compatible with the Laser® hull, but offering amazing performance on small lakes. A Laser® on steroids with a monster rig! Despite the rig size, the National Champions have been on the smaller size - perhaps this year it will be different.
