Due to the success of last year’s event, the RYA Scotland and MalinWaters Spring Championships are back for their second year, which is set to be even better. The event will be held this weekend (24 and 25 March) at Largs Sailing Club. Registration is open from 8.30am until 10.30am. The event will see 6 races over two days starting at 1pm on Saturday 24th March and running through to 4pm on Sunday 25th March.

The RYA Scotland Spring Championships are ideal for those sailors who love to get out on the water for some exciting racing. It is also a great opportunity to involve the whole family on the water for a fun and safe family day out. Even if you are not a sailor or planning to take to the water you can still come along to Largs Sailing Club to enjoy the spectacle of a fantastic event taking place with some of Scotland’s best young sailors competing.

“We are looking forward to our second year of the event, which is set to be a fantastic weekend in Largs. I would also like to thank MalinWaters for sponsoring the event, it would not be able to happen without their support”.

The event is open to people of all ages, and sailing abilities, as well as incorporating a number of class racing fleets. The classes at the regatta include; Optimist, Topper, BicTechno, Laser 4.7, Laser Radial, Laser Standard, Solo, RS Feva, RS 200, RS 400, 29er and 420.
