Laser South Coast and South East Grand Prix at Arun Yacht Club

The South Coast and South East regions of the Laser Grand Prix combined together for a joint meeting at Arun Yacht Club on Saturday 12th May. Forty one boats arrived to sunny Littlehampton, with a shifty offshore breeze.

Laser Open at Yeadon Sailing Club

Clear sky, south-westerly wind, Force 4 but gusting 5/6. We had 6 local boats and 2 visitors. Nathan Poulton started as he meant to go on, and showed everyone a clean pair of heels in race one.

Laser Midlands Grand Prix Round 5 at Blithfield Sailing Club

The 5th round of the Laser Midlands Grand Prix was held at Blithifeld Sailing Club on 12th May. After the light winds from the previous 4 rounds a welcome force 3 greeted the fleet of 18 boats when they arrived which proved to give close racing.

Laser Home Counties and Eastern Grand Prix at Ely Sailing Club

Eleven sailors, including eight home boats, rigged their Lasers on Sunday morning to compete in the annual Laser Open held at Ely Sailing Club. The Laser Open is part of the Home Counties and Eastern Region Laser Grand Prix circuit.

Audi Laser World Championship at Boltenhagen - Prizegiving

After his introduction to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Andreas Christiansen, the president of the hosting sailing club Norddeutscher Regatta Verein thanked the sailors for a fair regatta series and honoured the volunteers who helped.

Audi Laser World Championship at Boltenhagen, Germany - Overall

Going into today’s races Tom Slingsby (AUS) had a comfortable 20 point lead on Tonci Stipanovic (CRO) in second place and 14 to 18 knots of wind were ideal conditions for the defending World Champion.
