RS Feva training goes international

In keeping with the class ethos of inclusiveness, development and performance the RS Fevas are taking training international. From 31 Mar to 4 Apr, Estartit in Spain will host coaches from 4 countries and sailors from 5 countries – Spain, Netherlands, Sweden, UK and Malta.
The camp will be run by top International Feva coaches with 3 days coaching followed by 2 days of racing. Families are hoping for early spring sunshine to add to the event ingredients!
The concept appears to have met with general approval as the event is already fully booked. If all goes well the International Feva Association are hoping to run more training camps throughout Europe.
Bollé RS Feva Grand Prix at Thorpe Bay Yacht Club
The Bollé RS Feva GP circuit moved to Thorpe Bay Yacht Club last weekend. TBYC hosted a fantastic event laying on good race management, lovely food, decent weather (especially Sunday), top class debrief & a warm welcome.

UK RS Feva Class Association announces ’405’ bursary
The UK RS Feva Class has lots to shout about at the moment with over 100 entries for the SEKONDA Nationals in Torquay & 180 entries for the Magic Marine World Champs at Hayling Island.

Bollé RS Feva Grand Prix at Grafham Water Sailing Club
Grafham Water SC welcomed the RS Feva class for the first Bolle sponsored Grand Prix event & 4th qualifier for the 2012 World Championships. 90 RS Fevas joined Flying 15s, Scorpions & Larks for the multi-class event set on two courses.

RS Feva squad attend United 4 Regatta in Medemblik, Holland
The RS Feva National Squad were in Medemblik Holland for the United 4 Regatta. They had two days training with Coach, Dave Hivey and then the Regatta at the weekend. The squad stayed together in bungalows surrounded by rivers.

RS Feva International Training Camp at L’Estartit, Spain - Days 1 & 2
The RS Fevas are enjoying their first International Training Camp at L’Estartit on the Costa Brava, Spain. With 22 boats from 5 countries and top coaches from each of them fun and learning should be assured.

A cracking year in store for the RS Feva class
On the Saturday of the RYA Dinghy Show there will be exactly 140 days to go to the Worlds at Hayling Island – the first time they will have been held in the UK. As at the time of writing there are already 100 boats entered from 8 countries.

RYA North Zone RS Feva XL squad training at Crosby Sailing Club
Over the weekend of 4th & 5th February, the RYA North Zone RS Feva XL squad, attended at Crosby Lakeside centre as guests of Crosby SC. The squad had turned up at their original venue, to find considerable ice had built up.

RS Feva End of Seasons at Queen Mary Sailing Club
The RS Feva UK ’End of Season’ Championship at Queen Mary Sailing Club attracted 94 boats the largest number of entries ever for a RS Feva GP event in the UK.
