Steve Nicholson 2012 Results!
150 boats enjoyed a great Steve Nicholson Trophy and raised over £2000 for Asthma UK. Thank you to all those who took part and all those who gave their time and energy to run the event. With a special thanks going to the event sponsors: Zhik, Gill, Gul, Musto, Allen, Selden and Sailjuice.
The foiling fleet consisted of 6 International Moths where former champion Mike Cooke edged out Mike Lennon in the two race series.
There were 29 boats in the asymmetric fleet. In the light winds Ex P&B man Scott Allen crewed by Charlie Odell scored a solid in a RS400 second and a first to secure victory whilst the talented Tom Darling and Will Doling sailing a Feva XL claimed the asymetric youth prize.
Phantoms unsurprisingly took advantage of the timid conditions in the single hander fleet. Of the 58 entrants Andy Couch performed consistently to finish in 1st place.
Of the 60 boat double handed fleet the Merlins proved to be too strong on the day with Dave Winder and Pippa Taylor winning with a 1st in the final race of the event. P&B Zhik Race Team's Tom Stewart and Steve Hall using the new P&B radial Merlin main looked and felt fast which helped them finish in second place. Click here for more information on the event...

P&B are looking to recruit someone to work in our busy boat repair and fitting out department.
The job will involve fitting out racing dinghies as well as boat repairs and race preparation. Training can be provided in house if necessary. The job is based at our Northampton works.
