The South Zone Squad arrived at a windy Datchet Water for weekend 4 of the training series. There was a strong, but steady on-shore wind, and after briefing we launched to concentrate on starting practice, with Windsor Castle on the horizon. Nicky and Chris worked us hard and we came in for a welcome warm up to the Datchet Sailing Club, who provided hospitality and hot food for the whole weekend.

After a steady 22 knots in the afternoon the squad reconvened in the Kalderon's house for the evening and enjoyed a delicious meal.

The following day's wind was no less forgiving and at the end of a long morning session we were better sailors in stronger wind and enjoyed our windy practice. Thanks to Nicky and Chris for another great weekend.
