With almost 90 registered entries already, the Brass Monkey at Yorkshire Dales SC is set to be one of the premier winter events of the year.
Entries are in from over 30 clubs - all across the North, but also from as far afield as Lymington (300 miles south) and Aberdeen (325 miles north). A truly National event!
This level of attendance means the fleet will probably be split into at least two starts (i.e. fast / slow). But we will need to know the full entry list so that the Race Officer and his team can decide the most sensible way to split the fleet and get everyone signed in as easily as possible, and so the club has decided that we cannot accept any entries on the day.
So if you're tempted by the prospect of some of the best sailing in the North on the largest inland water in Yorkshire, an amazing Meal deal for just £5, Heated floors, brilliant views over the lake from the state of the art clubhouse and deck, and a warm Yorkshire welcome, please get your entry in as soon as possible.
