Starcross Steamer 2012 to be held on 15th January

The Steamer 150 minute pursuit race is taking place this year on 15th January at Starcross YC and is open to all monohulls. After last year's record entry of 94 boats we hope that last year's visitors will want to repeat the experience. Although we can't guarantee sunshine like last year we can assure you of good racing on estuary courses.
It is an early start (10:00) this year to catch the tide so if you want to travel down the night before and leave the boat at the club please get in touch so we can open up for you.
Although the Steamer is not part of the Sailjuice series, we have decided to adopt the same set of PYs as the other big winter events to provide some consistency. The Notice of Race, Sailing Instructions and PY list are available from the club website www.starcrossyc.org.uk/openmeeting - you will also find maps and links to accommodation.
