by Jonathan Lewis 2 Sep 2011 11:23 BST 10-11 September 2011

Entries are flooding in for the Optimum Time Inland Championships at Alton Water Sports Centre near Ipswich on 10th / 11th September.

With separate starts for the RS Tera Pro and the RS Tera Sport, competition will be fierce for the excellent prizes on offer from Optimum Time and LOMO. In addition their will be a number of spot prizes spread throughout the fleet.

Following on from their successes at this years’ RS Tera Worlds, the current squaddies will be keen to keep the up and coming sailors behind them.

As an added incentive, the event will be the last chance for selection for the Team GBR RS Tera Squads for 2012.

36 sailors will be chosen for inclusion in the National RS Tera Pro Squad, The National RS Tera Sport Squad and the RS Tera Sport Intermediate Squad. Coaches will be on hand to both offer advice and make their final selections.

With a bring your own bar-b-que organised for Saturday evening, it will be a real family affair. In addition, numerous activities are on offer in the surrounding area so why not bring the whole family along.
