The Rooster 8.1 nationals will be held at Weston on 18-19 October 2008 © Rooster 8.1 Class Association
Ideal 9-15 knot winds and sunny spells are forecast for the entrants to the Rooster 8.1 Nationals this Saturday and Sunday at Weston Sailing Club in Southampton Water.
Although we already have ten 8.1 rigs hired for the weekend at just £15 each - there are still more available should you want to join the party. For a last minute 8.1 Rig Hire call the Rooster Head Office on 0845 388 0330 and join the many Rooster 8.1 owners at their second National Championships. First start is Saturday at 13:00 - entry just £15.

Background to the Rooster 8.1 Class
There have been 375 Rooster 8.1 Rigs sold to date in just 18 months. Many sailors have enjoyed the thrill of the big rig while sailing on their local lake in some great handicap racing. Rooster 8.1 fleet racing is even more exciting with the heavy weights taking advantage to windward and the lightweights taking it to them downwind.
