Raymarine Radar Training sessions this Autumn across Britain

Raymarine is offering individuals the opportunity to learn new skills and improve their boating abilities and practices at training sessions taking place across Britain this autumn and winter.

Forthcoming dates:

  • 24th October 2008 - Brighton Brighton Marina Yacht Club
  • 25th October 2008 - Eastbourne Sovereign Harbour Yacht Club
  • 31st October 2008 - Brantham Precision Navigation
  • 1st November 2008 - Brantham Precision Navigation

The day sessions will be run by Alan Watson and will focus specifically on radar. With more than 15 years experience, Alan, who trained and served as a Merchant Navy Electronics Officer, holds a Board of Trade Certificate for the maintenance of radar.

In addition to gaining a greater understanding of radars, Alan will be providing technical advice and demonstrations on how the Raymarine E Series multifunction display works with AIS.

The day long course will cost £85 + vat per person which includes a welcome pack, an E120 per person for hands on use during the course, morning and afternoon tea and coffee and lunch. Raymarine dealers, local to each area, will also be on hand to assist and provide technical advice if required.

The training days are being offered to a maximum of 15 people per course and must be pre-booked online. To register your interest please visit the Raymarine website. Bookings will be taken on a first come, first serve basis, successful bookings will be confirmed by telephone.
