420 Nationals at Helensburgh Sailing Club

Luke Patience and Adam Wagner are the new 420 National Champions after a 14 race series at Helensburgh Sailing Club between Sunday 16 August to Friday 22 August.

The local duo lead the 65-strong field from race two of the event and won with two races to spare on the final day.

Sam Carter and Paul Davies finished second, just edging out Callum MacDonald and Jonathan Frazer on countback.

The top female team were Alison Martin & Bethan Carden who finished in fifth overall.

Strong winds persisted until the final day when conditions were more manageable.
