Hi i've been speaking to my ozzy PE teach and just found out she asailed a bit in oz.

Sadly  she said she sailed a 3 man cutter cat but i have no idea what that is?????? is it a big cat, racing cat, cruising cat???

I've heard the term cutter means that it has more than 1 headsail set simutainiously

what peter said is correct,


just gonna shuv this on the end, went out in the Dart 16(from the sailing school i sometimes work at) wiv my mate yesterday ( i know there gonna be tame compared to what some of u guys sail) WOW it was fantastic, the speed was great, pitchpolled it and hit the bottom wiv the leeward hull in the process, the onl;y other multi-hull experience i had was crewing on a hobie 16 
i like cats

Yeah i want a go on one, any cat ! im off to studland (swanage) in a few weeks and would love to hire one for a bit, anyone no where i could get one and if im used to dinghy's (i can trapeze) is there any chance that i would be able to sail (i know i wouldnt be sailing to its full capasity) one of these without instruction for a bit?

ye it would be good to have go at studland wouldnt it. but i bet it would cost alot.
