Bit of a quandry here and any help or opinions is great! I'm a 14 year old experienced cadet sailor based in brightlingsea and wanting to get on the cat scene. I've been having problems due to the fact that i want a single hander that can sail with 2/3 cadet inexperienced crew or friends my size double handed. Being 6ft and 13 stone I am too large for anything under 16foot to race single handed competitivley and i've recently noticed a few cheap >£2000 hobie 17's i just wondered if anyone had any suggestions or advice. PS i've got a budget of around 3500-4000 but some left over would be nice for a car fund. |

You're a sailor when you will leave port in any wind,
You're a good sailor when you can get back! |
