A cheaper option is just to buy sheets of magnetic foil and cut out your own.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01BWXZW10/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

£2.99 each.
Enterprise 20361 (Eisvogel), Laser 102727 (Halcyon), Laser 121986

Sure you can go cheap, and you can make adjustable booms with drawing pins pointing up from the bottom and cut-off cable ties,

If you're into cottage crafts.

I daresay, to please iGRF you could make them out of wood ,<g>

Get the ones with adjustable booms, not the ones with the stencil/cut-out booms:
  • its a PIA flipping them over when you're demonstrating tacks and gybes;  and
  • boom position relative to boat is often relevant to protest situations.

Dutch Match & Team racing association is probably the best source at the moment.

Really nice models, with slightly proud little round magnets. Makes them really easy to twiddle on a whiteboard, and move about.

I'm not sure if Noel Allen in Aus is still making his models - the four colour ones with movable booms. Try an email to (replace (a) obvs) . ppillare(a)bigpond.net.au
