It is. I should imagine it is Tony Copp. He is one of only two Laser sailors we have. He has been sailing a Laser since Jesus was a squaddie. Lovely guy. Always late...as such he is known as th ever late Tony Copp

I had exactly that back back long ago before I had grey hair. My Brother and I were racing our Mirror in the menai straits regatta and the tide was that strong we just stayed still while our Dad sat on a bench next to us eating an Ice cream. We sat there for thirty minutes as a sporty at the time Graduate sailed through the fleet having just enough power to break the current and win the race. Thus followed by us buying our first graduate............

And now you travel the World searching for that first Grad. Remember to read race report for the class that 'dare not speak it's name'. Posted yesterday but rolled away into oblivion by now.......

Pronouncing Welsh - unlike English Welsh is pronounced as it is written.
Once you get used to the idea that ll is one letter and that w is a vowel it is incredibly easy... not like English. Beaumaris in English ... Biwmares in Welsh. Which more closely resembles the way the name is pronounced! |
