I've just noticed a small hole in my Laser sail. As it's a very small hole & not near any stress points, I'm assuming the best option would be to tape it - is that right? And if so, what sort of tape would be best?
All help much appreciated!

Where exactly in the sail is it? A picture would help and there are various sail makers hanging around here.
The issue with the laser sal is that the cloth stretches a lot meaning you may need to get a small patch stiched over it as tape may come off over time. If the hole is in the luff sleeve I would not worry about it too much loads of my Laser sails had holes and small tears in the sleeve.

In the past I have used (white) spinnaker tape ironed on with a just warm iron so that the glue goes into the weave. Lasts forever.

Like some other things - sailing is more enjoyable when you do it with someone else
