Not long to go now until the 25th East Coast Piers Race.

The event is being held on the 14th and 15th July at Marconi Sailing Club in Essex (Post Code CM0 7NU).

FREE Camping is available from Friday night until Monday midday.

2 Short course races on Saturday, first start at 1pm.

Evening meal available on Saturday night along with the bar being open of course. Adnams are sponsoring the event so good cheap beer will be available.

Sunday race briefing will be around 6pm on Saturday evening.

On Sunday will be the long courses with two options, Colne Point Race (29 miles) and East Coast Piers Race (50 miles). First start is going to be at 9.30am.

This is a great event and easily manageable for new comers with mother boats at each mile of the courses and ribs to help too. Come and give it a go and help us raise as much money for charity as possible.

All the information can be found at www.eastcoastpiersrace.com

Questions to me or info@eastcoastpiersrace.com

We couldn't do it without our sponsors so a BIG THANK YOU to:  Clap

Ooh, if you do, that would be fantastic. Obviously I'll reimburse you in the unlikely event that we have to use them!

Out of date ones are fine for ECPR, most leccy tape them to the BA, last year we had a competitor use theirs as a diy tiller fix.

I'll be there on Rib 7 (is our normal number) little Orange Humber with feva crew possibly at the helm. Come and say Hi

For those sailing at Stone Sailing Club the week before, you can leave your boats at Marconi for the week but we are behind a locked gate.

Also, if you're looking at coming during the week, again I will need to know because the gate is locked.

I will need to know you are coming so I can hang around and let you in. Email info@eastcoastpiersrace.com

Thanks

Andrew
