Hi Katie I've got Sail Sim 4 and it took me a while too (I had to dig around the disk for the manual as the help feature wouldn't work). The following might help you out: Mainsheet: F1, Main Halyard: F2, Curve Main: F3, Toggle Auto-Main F4, Jib Sheet (Port): F5, Jib Sheet(Stbd): F6, Jib Halyard: F7, Toggle Auto Jib: F8 Then to ease/heave in sheet or lower/raise halyard use arrow up/down
Hope this gets you on the move! PS To find the manual right click the disk in My Computer and select explore - you'll see the manual folder where you can open it as a PDF File. |

And there's another button that holds position so you don't go drifting off too - but I haven't used the game for ages so I can't remember which one it is! ANother good tip is to slow the crew reactions right down if you are sailing a dinghy or they leap about all over th eplace and then you capsize... |

You need to find the cheats AND a walkthrough to get to the end of that game! Good luck...

There is no easy way to centre the rudder - just remember that in the game like the real thing it is better to use small inputs than to whack the tiller hard over and then try to recover it - lots of small taps on the keys. Alternatively get hold of the Sail Simulator joystick thingy with a "real" tiller on it... |

oh yeah - don't worry about the rudder being exactly at 0,0 - it never is on a real boat either!
