I've just finished reading Frank Bethwaites High Performance Sailing (probably not for the last time).
Is there much different/new in the 2008 Higher Performance Sailing? (Still 43 quid on Amazon)

I think the first book is better, but still worth getting the second one. There is some repetition but worth it.

Yeah, there's a lot more in the second one.
Basically the second book has much more historical perspective, much more on the techniques of sailing apparent wind boats and much less weather |
