Crikey. Much respect. What on earth was the boat they rescued thinking being out? I know the forecast got worse at fairly short notice, but up here that happened in the early hours of the morning whilst everyone sensible was asleep (though wasn't asleep after it hit!)

Just been on the news about a guy out in a sailing dinghy on the south coast who had to be rescued in winds gusting bf11. What's wrong with people?

clicked onto their twitter account. Noticed in the "you and Hot Liquid also follow" bit there was a single account- the met office. Clearly, they don't pay them much attention.

This is the company's website: http://www.hotliquid.co.uk/

I took the family for a little cross channel cruise yesterday afternoon. Admittedly it was on Brittany Ferries ship the Mont St Michel.

All I can it was not very pleasant even on such a large ship.
