When would one have to buy a boat licence ?? would it be determined by lenght of hull 

any ideas ??

	It more depends on where you are sailing the boat. The Thames, Broads, Windermere etc, all charge a licence fee irrespective of length... So just check out the legislation in the area you choose to sail... Jon
