Hi Guys

I ve been reading up about Wind behaviour. I am horribly confused about why the wind veers as it moves out over the sea - OK so there is the issue of friction variance between the land and sea but why does that cause it to change direction?

does anyone have a nice early learning centre explanation?

Cheers

davek

It depends who you read. Could not find any Janet and John explanations but here's one from Frank Singleton's excellent website
