Hi Terry, yes we can date the boat by the sail number fairly accurately. Post a number and we will come back with the age as near as d*mn and who the builder was at the time. Tim SN692

Thanks to all above, I am interested in buying a 2nd hand nova, but the prices are all over the place and I want to check the age of the boat, so thats why I interested in the sail numbers. Tim if I find a boat thats of interest to me, I will give you the number, at the moment I have only seen novas that are 100,s of miles away and lots of money. michael |

Hi Terry, I see what you mean, the prices are a little high at the moment. There's a new deck mold version coming out in the spring so the prices will drop. My thought is to either wait a little or bargain hard. 442 at burghfield is 20 mins from me so I could pop down for a quick look for you sometime if that would help?
PM me if you like. |

Thanks for the offer, put you give sound advice and I will wait for prices to drop a bit, after all asking over 60% of the new price for an old boat is a bit much. michael |
