am trying to find insurance for the 5k. i cant find it under £400 seems a bit steep considering what the boat is. noble quoted me 450 and trying to think of other insurers |

How much are you insuring it for? I'm paying £70 for FS, insured for £1500 with craft insure.

I agree that £450 for insurance of a Laser 5000 would seem high. Our standard premium for a Laser 5000 worth £1500 would be just under £225, so either you have requested a much higher sum insured or you have made a number of recent claims and your premium has been adjusted. Jon |

When I had mine a few years back it was insured (through Noble) for £2000 at £275 a year. So you should be able to get it cheaper.
