I know y'all are just doing this to wind me up.

Whereas you should be ashamed of yourselves, this is the very reason we newbies have to suffer the appalling lack of customer service and ready availability of modern new designs. Wouldn't it be great if there were showrooms full of nice shiny boats we could buy there and then on the spot and go sail them next day?

The Best thing y'all can do, other than book your collective selves on a Ryan Air one way to Switzerland, is to take your old crap out and have a bonfire of your misguided vanities on Nov 5th.

Consider it a sacrifice to the greater good of boatmanity.

And stop lauding it as if in some way being a total luddite tightwad is a good thing, it's not you're all bad people.

Should be ashamed of yourselves.

I've taken down your names.

Come the day, there will be retribution Wink

What we're actually doing grumpf is keeping newbies like you afloat by providing a ready source of invaluable information, advice, assistance etc about enjoyable, affordable boats which may not be shiny, but can still give hours of cheap fun.

mind you, some of the refurbs I undertake in the name of restoration work out way more expensive than buying some piece of replicant plastic tat.....but the boats are unique at the end of it.

Love as always,

I have a cotton spinny from a vintage GP, and also the spinny bag, which was a cloth pocket in a sort of drawer thing.  Let me know if you want them.

Not sure wasn't planning on using the spinny but how much and what condition is it in?
