An Eleven Plus!

I owned one of these way back that was about 50s or 60s.  Loved it, she planed beautifully, wish I still had it.  Unhappy  My present Enterprise is late 70s-80 which was rescued from the dinghy park at Tamworth SC and restored /updated by a previous owner.

Our new boat is Merlin number 40 built in 1946. At least she's older than either crew though we'd be serious contenders for the "highest combined age of helm, crew and boat" prize!

I'm not sure whether I dare ask if you'd beat the owners of No6...

I'd guess about equal - but since 6 was built before 40 that would break the tie!

I owned Enterprise 5049 for several years, built in 1960. Sadly relegated to being an outboard driven mini canal boat after too many winters outside left her insufficient to carry rig loads. But she's still a boat when the alternative would have been a viking funeral on Nov 5th

Current boat is Spice 346 from 1998.....
