I think the Topper came out in '76 but not too sure, that may make it early 80's possibly?

I had 16417 in 1978 and 20051 in 1981 so that gives you a range. I'd guess 1979. |

The VERY OLD Topper is coming up lovely
One of those sanding blocks and Ajax is sorting out the bottom Followed by Ajax & a cloth Followed by a polish With a wax on top So it might take a while The deck is to be Sanding block & ajax Hotair gun The bits I have done are a fab colour Should I wax the deck as well - or will it just make it slippy? Umm am I doing it right? |

My old old old topper had a similar treatment before I sold it and it looked like a different boat by the time I was done... Id leave the wax off the deck though (including foredeck)... I can see that ending a little badly!

Well if it had been as clean as the bits I've done - I would have paid waaay more than I did
Glad to know the Ajax won't hurt it The hot air gun thing is bizarre The wax thing is kinda what I'd thought - but thought I'd check as I don't really sail |
