M8 I recommend making your own out of rubber, if your get rubber strips
say 2 inches wide, you can screw them down with outers and inner plates to create more than one loop, they stay stood up, and if you fall off the wire etc they will probably break like your ankle would in solid footloops |

its could also be 'goodbye' but I didnt let that stop me....
When I bought the cherub my aunt mentioned that it would probibly help with my intended university course (naval architecture/marine engineering) What I didnt realise was that she was obviously under the impression I was hoping to study gynecology Removing a carbon/HD foam bulkhead with a grinder, almost all blind, through the kite chute. Dont try at home kids. Nuff said. |

Yeh i tried tire innertube, but its pretty weak, however if you find a dual core innertube or something of higher strength, for example downhill racing innertube then it should be good enough. id recommend using plastic plates/strips to go arcoss the rubber to fix it to the boat, screw either end down = looks pretty good and strong! check out higher and faster! I got the idea from the 49er, they actually explain it on there. |

Dakine windsurfing foot loops seem to do the job pretty well and are relatively cheap. If its good enough for the windsurfers.........................

Have you looked at Wavelength? You can get all sizes in a pretty array of interesting colours. And you'd be buying from a Contender sailor, what more to ask ?
