Any views on the club at Chew Valley - what are the main classes and whats the racing like? Is it a friendly club?

The main classes are Laser, Solo and Flying Fifteens and a handicap fleet that covers all else including a fair number of 200s. I reckon the Weds evening Laser fleet is possibly the biggest fleet in the country, with a standard to match.

It is vibrant and thriving in a beautiful location, with a decent sized bit of water and, uniquely amongst sailing clubs, the members are all stunningly attractive ;)

Or try Bristol Corinthian, just over the Mendips. I can confirm the members aren't as attractive though.

At Chew? 1035, but all numbers are reviewed annually at Chew.

... and we have an active H2 in the handicap fleet too.
Europe AUS53 & FF 3615
National 12 3344, Europe 397 and Mirror 53962 all gone with regret
