I have several slightly tired symmetric dinghy spinnakers. The shape is not too bad, but they have gone a bit soft and floppy.

Does anyone know if there are any surface coatings obtainable to rejuvenate them?

Need to be careful when coating kites because some substances can make patching kites tricky, ie, when sticking patches on the adhesive won't stick.

hannah from what ive heard (dont quote me on this) if you use silicon it just washes off if you get it wet and if it gets wet while still in the chute all the silicon moves down the boat and is very slippery
