the surroundings of pitsford can be quite  attractive if the pic is composed correctly 

as for no wind   that can be interesting , i've actually seen a  'sea breeze' form  at pitsford on a still sunny  day  in July   leading to  various ferrets being able the reach around the circumference of the lake ...

They will have used a stock photo in the absence of any others (either the class or Y&Y). Not uncommon but NSC is far prettier than that photo from certain angles.....

We're there for the 200 inlands; hopefully not a rerun of last years wind no-show.  Don't remember the scenery being quite like this.
