hi all, can anyone recommend a removable outboard bracket to fit on to a 25 foot racing yacht, need to support up to about 25kg.

Most of the ones I can find are wither fixed or just hinged, but for a cleaner look I would rather have one that I can remove most of it.

Any ideas ?

Cheers

This  or this

One part stays on the transom and the other is detachable.

I would avoid them like the plague, terrible company to deal with. Been there, lost my money... Also none of those brackets is enough to support a modern day 4 stroke engine.

Better off getting something custom fabricated, we had to do the same for our quarter tonner...

The Seagull one in the previous post is simple and effective, and works well for me. However, that is on a 16ft Devon Yawl with a 2.5hp air cooled Honda. Not sure it's up to taking a 25kg outboard.
