Phil and Jeremy left Dale this morning and it looks like winds from a good direction for a few days.

After Weymouth - Dale in three days/nights, not sure where their next stop will be, but maybe Bangor, NI?

In a Boys Own adventure, it would be a clinker boat with a canvas lug sail, with 2 teenagers on board, maybe being chased by some bad guys? There would be impossible storms to survive, and mountainous waves... not sure I wish any of that on Team Hafren!

...and the book certainly wouldn't mention their toilet arrangements.

(In a 16ft dinghy when you're off shore for 3 days? One can't be shy, that's for sure.)

The guys are doing well!

Just got into Crinan - and that's after around 13 days from Weymouth.... not bad at all!

It is truly an amazing performance.  Having just raced through the same waters and seen the tides, overfalls etc on those major headlands this is truly an amazing performance.

Tonight they are heading on up to Skye. They had an incident with a whirlpool this afternoon which resulted in a 720, but are having a good time.

Team Hafren update.

The guys have been storming along in recent days. Having left Gairloch only a few days ago, they screamed around Cape Wrath and across to Scrabster. A day ashore to restock and off they went again. They sailed around the corner and headed across the Moray Firth, past Fraserbrough and on down the coast. The guys have opted for a longer stint while the weather's good and are already down to Arbroath, and aiming for North Berwick or slightly further as their next stop tomorrow.
They guys are doing amazingly well.

I've followed Hafren since your first "heads up", watching their amazing progress! I'm full of admiration for what they're doing. Well done, guys. Must be an amazing trip. Just brilliant!
