It looked manageable enough at my club this am. I'd have gone yachting in my Cherub days if my regular helm was available.

We had a recorded gust of 39mph at hunts yesterday with steady 25mph+ 

Conditions were certainly sailable but survival conditions for most!

We were down at Kimmeridge in Dorset. The windsurfers were having a wild time. Windy enough to be blown backwards at times.

Ruperson was on a ferry coming back from Calais last night. Delayed nearly 3 hours off Dover while they brought the smaller ferries in first. It appears he doesn't get sea sick, and had a wonderful time! I'd have been feeling like sh*t...
