Cherub

Cherub

The Cherub is a light weight 3.7m waterline development two hander, with boats weighing under 70kg fully rigged. The class originated in New Zealand and is also numerous in Australia. Recent boats all have asymmettric spinnakers. Cherubs are often home built and even home designed. Noted for their spectacular offwind speed the top Cherubs race as much at open handicap events as at class open meetings.
